Komal Nasir is Pakistan’s first designer brand. Who is exclusively designing shawls scarves capes and dupattas. She feels there was a big gap for these here. Every woman needs a shawl scarf or a dupatta to give her a complete and classy look. The “Separates” have destroyed the concept of a national dress consisting of three pieces i.e Shirt, shawl, and a dupatta.
Komal, a graduate of the college of home economics. Believes that the beauty of an outfit comes alive if it is worn as a whole. These days the dupattas and shawls have lost their importance. It is very hard to find a matching nice dupatta with a designer outfit. Last year Komal created a few shawls and dupattas for herself and got raving reviews amongst friends and family members. This encouraged her to start this business. She likes using bright and bold colors. Her work shows her innate fondness for intricate embellished embroidery.
Komal Nasir brand has made her name within a niche circle of designers doing amazing work in reviving our rich heritage and dying crafts, by producing bespoke shawls, scarves, and stoles. Komal has her hands full being a mommy of four with a running business that is flourishing. Her work is a labor of love which is a testimony to her sheer mastery over design aesthetics.

And do something that our heart desires and I want to make the most of it. I do not only work for my satisfaction but another thing that keeps me going is the idea that my work will be employing so many people. This is enough to make me achieve my goals.”
